Thun wins against Xamax

Match report.
The game
After a nervous start with several careless mistakes on both sides, Thun takes control of the game more and more. In the 37th minute, Chris Kablan crosses back to Noël Wetz. Wetz hits the ball directly into the net with a volley from the penalty area line. A dream goal for the Thun youngster, who scores for the first time for the 1st team. After the break, Xamax gets into the game better and has several good opportunities, but Andreas Hirzel in the goal of Thun thwarts all with strong saves. The Oberlanders continue to be efficient on the other side. After a corner in the 60th minute of the game, Nicolas Hasler is in the right place and scores the 2:0 with his head. The Neuenburgers now press vehemently for the lead. In the 84th minute, it is then the newly substituted Endrit Morina, who asserts himself in the penalty area against the Thun defense and scores to 1:2. But it is not enough for Xamax, Thun brings the 2:1 advantage over time.

Thun wins against GC

Match report.
The game
Thun starts strongly into the match against the league leader GC. Already in the seventh minute of the game Nikki Havenaar puts a first exclamation mark with a header on the crossbar. In the 31st minute of the match, Chris Kablan converts a free kick with his head for the 1:0 lead. After the break, the Oberlanders come under more pressure. In the 71st minute, Ermir Lenjani can only be stopped by a foul in the penalty area. Cristian Ponde gives goalkeeper Andreas Hirzel no chance and scores the equalizer to 1:1. Just when GC smells morning air, Nikki Havenaar hits the heart of the Zurich team. After a corner kick, the Japanese-born player climbs highest and nods in the goal to make it 2:1. Dennis Salanovic sets the final point with a remarkable individual action. The Joker beat two opponents and put the ball into the net for 3:1. (nth)

No goals between Thun and Winterthur

Match report.
The game
The game between Thun and Winterthur, which was moved to the Stockhorn Arena due to unplayable terrain on the Schützenwiese, ends without a goal. In the first half, the Thun team is the dominant force in the game and finishes a number of matches, but without becoming really dangerous. The guests from Winterthur are different: in the injury time of the first half Roman Buess hits the crossbars with a scoop. And after the side change Samir Ramizi with his post shot misses the guidance goal only scarcely. After a brief pressure phase from Winterthur, Thun then finds his feet again. Afterwards, the two teams exchange blows, but no team can win.

3:0 victory against Wil

Match report.
The game
Yesterday, Andres Gerber celebrated his 100th day in the office of Vice President of FC Thun Berner Oberland. Today he received his team's anniversary present with the 3-0 victory over Chiasso.
After a resinous first half with a few inaccuracies and some extremely tough duels between the guests, Grégory Karlen pulled out a foul penalty about a quarter of an hour after the restart for the second half. Gabriel Kyeremateng takes up the challenge and sinks the penalty with confidence. In the 69th minute of the game, Nicolas Hasler strikes a cross into the penalty area in the second attempt, where Kyeremateng is standing perfectly and scores again. But the 2-0 score is only just two minutes on the scoreboard. In the 71st minute of the game Chiasso-Goalie Alexandros Safarikas handles the ball. Grégory Karlen reacts with lightning speed and has all the time in the world to push the ball in for the 3-0 final result.

3:0 victory against Wil

Match report.
The game
Thun is struggling against the eastern Swiss at the beginning. However, the longer the game lasts, the more dominant the Oberländer act. The leading goal in the 34th minute of the game is more or less the starting signal for the home team's run of improvement. After a corner kick, the ball finds its way to Nicola Sutter. He puts the ball back to Nias Hefti, who hits through the legs of friend and foe perfectly into the lower right corner to make it 1-0. After the change of sides practically the same picture as in first contact. Once again the Thun team has trouble against the guests from Wil. And again it is a corner kick that leads to a goal for the Oberlanders. The Wiler clarify only insufficiently up to the just substituted Fabian Rüdlin, who hits with his first ball contact worth seeing by direct contact to 2:0. Afterwards Thun lets nothing more burn and comes in the stoppage time by one of Kenan Fatkic sovereignly converted Foulpenalty still to 3:0.

No winner between Thun and Schaffhausen

Match report.
The game
After a match-defining start for the Thun team, Schaffhausen finds its way into the game more and more during the first half. Both teams come to promising opportunities, but without scoring the lead. In the 54th minute of the game Imran Bunjaku steers the ball into his own goal after a corner kick to make it 1-0 for FC Thun Berner Oberland. Just 20 minutes before the end of the game, Dominik Schwizer is sent off the field after a second yellow card that was whistled very strictly. The Oberlanders then go for their own half of the pitch. This tactic seems to be working for the time being. However, just like last Monday against GC, the Thun team scored the unfortunate equalizer in injury time to make it 1:1.

1:1 draw against Grasshopper Club Zurich

Match report.
The game
Over 1,000 soft toys were donated by Zurich fans for a good cause and placed on the seats of the Letzigrund as representatives of the supporters. The cuddly toys experience an entertaining but goalless first half, which raises hopes for an exciting second half. And the spectators are not disappointed. Thun comes strongly out of the cabin and provokes a foulpenalty in the 55th minute of the game. Kenan Fatkic takes over the responsibility and scores beautifully in the upper right corner of the goal for 0:1. Only a few moments later Gabriel Kyeremateng is suddenly alone in front of GC-Goalie Mateo Matic. But his shot bounces back from the post. Only towards the end of the game do the home side wake up and come up with some good chances to equalize. But Dennis Salanovic also has a chance to clear the field shortly before the final whistle. But Matic keeps his somewhat hasty conclusion. In return, the Grasshoppers come to a final attack in the 93rd minute of the game - and indeed: Giotto Morandi's cross finds the head of Cristian Ponde, who hits the ball powerful for a 1:1 load-second equalization. Bitter for the Thun players, although they can be quite satisfied with their game.

Thun wins against Aarau

Match report.
The game
During the first 10 minutes, the events will be fast moving. First Kenan Fatkic hits only the post from about 30 meters, then Petar Misic commits a hand in the penalty area. But Chris Kablan fails from the penalty point on goalie Simon Enzler. Thun continues to press for the lead goal and receives a yellow-red card against Misic in the 30th minute of the game, supposedly further support. But the Thun team is struggling against the rebellious and committed Aarau team. In addition, the Oberlanders are also denied a goal shortly before the break whistle due to an alleged foul. After the change of sides, Aarau takes over the reins and within a few minutes they have several good chances to equalize. But about 20 minutes before the end of the game, Thun finds the kick again. As he did against Kriens, it is Saleh Chihadeh who finally turns a cross from Dennis Salanovic into a lucky winner in the 84th minute of the game.

2:0 victory against Chiasso

Match report.
The game
In the continuous rain of Kriens Thun starts strongly and takes an early 1-0 lead. Nicolas Hasler serves Nuno Da Silva with a sensational pass into the deep. Da Silva shows himself to be ice-cold and leaves goalie Pascal Brügger no defensive chance. The Oberlanders continue to dominate and could increase their lead to 2-0 in the 30th minute of the game thanks to a foul penalty awarded. However, Nicolas Hasler fails with his penalty kick against Brügger. After the change of sides, the Krienser change the tactical system and find better into the game. In the 58th minute Enes Yesilcayir manages to equalize 1:1 after a corner kick from an acute angle, which is worth seeing. Shortly before the end of the game, the ex-Krienser Saleh Chihadeh finally lands the lucky punch for 2:1.
